I can't recommend Stefanie from Bark Busters enough! She was so patient with us and our dog. She was very knowledgable and we instantly saw results. She taught us how to understand our dog's behaviour better, which has allowed us to understand how we interact with her more. She was very generous with her time and obviously cares a lot about animals. We really related to her training methods and will be definitely recommending her services to more people.

Stefanie's guidance and instruction was really clear and concise. We instantly saw a noticeable impact in Muprhy's behaviour. More specifically, Stefanie managed to completely fix Murphy's pulling by incorporating the "Bah" command and the use of a the 'Check Chain'. Murphy's recall has also dramatically improved with the use of the "Bah". We are now addressing Murphy's digging with the suggestions that Stefanie has put forward.

I really appreciated Stefanie’s clear and professional manner. In the first lesson she provided an amazing amount of information, and I felt a lot more confident about how to develop a positive dynamic with Missey. Stefanie was fantastic in teaching us how to manage out dog. We were at our wits end with barking and complaints from neighbours and we found that we had results straight away. Of course, we still need to be consistent with the training.I found Stefanie's approach very holistic and realistic. Not only has the barking improved, but Arya is much more settled generally and is much better walking without tugging on the lead.

We contacted Stef from Bark Busters regarding our little Georgia’s separation anxiety. When we would leave Georgia at home she would constantly cry and become destructive, destroying the timber around our doors and windows. We didn’t know what to do until we met Stef. Stef sat down with Georgia and us and discussed training techniques that would suit us and our battle with the separation anxiety. We have put these techniques into action and our little Georgia Is on the right track to becoming more confident when she is left at home by herself. From the time Stef entered our home, she provided us with advice about how to address Naala's behaviour (mainly barking). She was so patient and informative in our initial session and we started to see immediate (positive) changes in Naala. Another problem was Naala's walking, which was also addressed during the first session and I am so happy with her progress. She now walks on a loose lead consistently! Although Naala still does have a few things to improve, she has come a long way since our first session. Seeing so much progress since her first session is fantastic!

Stefanie was amazing throughout the whole process, she made me and my sister feel comfortable and confident throughout the sessions. She clearly has a passion for her job and ensured we were well supported and taught us many great strategies to help our dogs excessive barking and separation anxiety. She even brought in her own dogs to act as a distraction to our dog which we loved.

We are first-time dog owners. We have had the three initial lessons and one recently about something that arose with changing circumstances in our household. We have been very heartened by the training which gave us a consistent and well thought-through strategy for every area that was causing us difficulty and has put us in control. It made an obvious difference in the dog's demeanor. He was much calmer (as were we!) and we were able to begin to really enjoy him. We really like the fact that the owner signs up for the life of the dog. Stefanie is very accommodating and positive. She obviously loves her work and cares about the animals she works with.

Stef has been amazing with my puppy staffy Dakota! I first met Stef when I was fostering dogs and when she got adopted, a few months later I got a pup of my own I didn’t think twice about calling Stef at Bark Busters! Her guidance and advice has helped me improve my 6 month old jumping, door control, assertiveness and walking on the lead right beside me! From pulling on the lead and giving me rope burn (them Staffies are strong!!) during our walks I now enjoy walking my excitable pup!

Stefanie was very friendly and made us feel completely comfortable with training our beautiful Sophie from the first few minutes of our first consultation. My only regret is not booking a training session with Bark Busters much earlier!

The training was clear and introduced a new way of looking at our dog's behaviour and how we deal with the behaviours we wish to reduce. The BARF diet was explained and we are moving across to this way of feeding the dog. He already looks more lean and healthier.

Stefanie was very clear with the training process and techniques from the very beginning and explained it so both myself (First time training a dog / Hank) and my partner (Trained Hank before) understood. I Absolutely LOVE that she didn't use treats or any aggression towards the dog as a training technique and rather used our voices which Hank reacted instantly too! Within the fist lesson you could already tell the change in Hank, he was listening to us and we could already call him off possums which was a BIG deal for us. He now patiently waits at doors for us to ask him in and out, he doesn't pull or growl / bark when another dog walks past him. He LISTENS to us! We cannot recommend Stef and Bark Busters enough, so much so that we are using Stef for our new puppy Nala.

I first contacted BarkBusters when I was living in Fremantle, W.A and my Australian Shepherd, Olive, was 8 months old. Heather was a wonderful teacher, very thorough and enthusiastic. It is clear she really cares deeply about what she does. We then unexpectedly moved to Victoria, and with such a big move and Olive's continuing growth, a new set of challenges arose. It was no trouble to transfer to our new local trainer, Stefanie- just one quick phone call and three days later we were back at work! Stefanie too is an incredible trainer, she explains techniques clearly and is very adaptable when things aren't working. She always has creative and practical tools for Olive and I and won't leave our home until one of us is exhausted! Bark Busters is a truly wonderful service that has saved my sanity and my relationship with my best friend.

Stefanie has been incredibly helpful in training our dog Jeddah. She is attentive, committed, very personable and clearly genuinely loves dogs and what she does. In our initial sessions she was thorough and had many helpful and practical suggestions for Jeddah's training. She took the time to take us through these and even made a visit to my parents home where Jeddah sometimes stays to help them through the same training techniques in a different environment. The training we have done has been specific to Jeddah and Stefanie has gone to great lengths to ensure we address all the different things which trigger Jeddah to bark (even though the list is extensive). Our new forever fur family members come to us with open paws, big hearts and a few concerns. Stef was fantastic in listening to the long list of concerns we had with our new family members, and straight away started working on a training plan for them. Within an hour of being with Lily and Murphy they responded to her techniques and also as we practiced it. The method of training was great and something we could use on a daily basis - on the go. Stef has returned several times since our first lesson and we're happy to report that Lily is now a very comfortable dog who just loves everyone she meets and will respond correctly to our commands. Our big sook Murphy is steadily progressing and with each session Stef changes the approach to ensure it is the one that Murphy will respond to, not just whilst she is there but after we've finished our training.

Wish we had done it sooner. Teddy is still very much a puppy who along with our 2 year old daughter, was running rings around us. We now have the ability to enjoy our dog as he responded so well to the techniques shown to us by Stef. Knowing we are not alone and that we have on call help has made training fun and overall much better parents to Teddy.

Stef is the best, book her today, whatever your challenge, she is the dog (and their humans) behaviourist for you. I had doubts about the cost, the service delivery model and the effectiveness. I wish, wish WISH I booked bark busters years ago when they were mentioned to me. I have two dogs with a kaleidoscope of issues - barking, lead-pulling, jealously, anxiety, jumping up, bird obsession, zero door manners

...and in 4 sessions and with about 10-20 minutes of training from me each day the dogs (and I) have shown a marked improvement and I am hopeful that will consistency from me that our little pack will be well behaved, confident and happy. Stef had given me practical training tips, encouragement and confidence to be a great pack leader for my dogs. She's the best.
